FREE COMIC BOOKS!

Hey, gang! There are a couple of cool sales of my stuff going on at the moment. Honestly, it’s sorta difficult keeping up with them all. But I share, because I love! Also because I like paying rent.

Comics

We’ll get to the free comics in a minute…

But first, FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AGAIN, FROM THE DORK STORE!

Yup! It’s that thing again – FREE WORLDWIDE Shipping* when you order from the DORK STORE at  Society6. BE CAREFUL, though for this to work, you must use this link to get there! Don’t ask me why. I’m not in charge of this stuff. Frankly, it makes my head hurt.

This promotion expires March 9, 2014 at Midnight Pacific Time. *Offer excludes Framed Art Prints, Stretched Canvases and Throw Pillows with insert.

I even added a new poster, in honor of the sale. This may be the most popular DORK TOWER comic strip ever, and now you can hang it on your wall, should you wish!

MAKE WITH THE FREE COMIC BOOKS, MUSKRAT-BOY!

There’s another big sale over at DRIVE THRU COMICS that you may want to know about. In honor of Gary Gygax, March 4 is known as “GM Day”, and all the comics and collections I’ve worked on are now 30% off! ALSO? there are free downloads of some of my stuff, to sample!

All the DORK TOWER collections and comic books are now 30% off– meaning some of the comics are a mere $.69! But better yet – Dork Tower #1 is now absolutely free! Go on! Download it now! See where it all started! I’ll wait.

Now, there are gonna be SOME folks who say “wait…free PDFs really aren’t free comics.” To which others might respond “DIE! GO DIE IN FLAMES, RULES LAWER! YOU DIE NOW!”

But not I! Nope. If you’ve read this far, here’s what I’m gonna do.

Send me a stamped, self-addressed envelope – one large enough to hold a comic book. Do this, and I’ll send you a free sample of one of my comic books back! Yup! That’s all. No strings attached apart from the “stamped” and “self-addressed” thing. A few of the comics I shove into happy, stamped, self-addressed envelopes may even be signed!

Why am I doing this? For funnies. Honestly, I’m also kinda curious just to see who reads through to the end of these blog posts, and what the response will be. I also wanna see if Business Manager Monica has a heart attack about now. Possibly I should have warned her I was doing this, first. Please do not have a heart attack, Monica!

FREE COMIC BOOK CAVEATS:

  • CAVEAT ONE: The return envelope MUST be comic-book side or larger!
  • CAVEAT TWO: The return envelope MUST be self-addressed, to get back to you!
  • CAVEAT THREE: The return envelope MUST have sufficient return postage on it!
  • CAVEAT FOUR: There is noooooooo Caveat Four!
  • CAVEAT FIVE: A comic book weighs about 3 ounces.Bagging and boarding will add another couple of ounces. PLEASE work out with your post office what return postage will be, with whatever kind of envelope you will be using. I hate to sound bitchy, but I just don’t have the time to do your research for you. This project only works if it’s as low-hassle as possible, for me!

If any of the above caveats are not met, the envelope is not getting back to you, and no comics will magically whisk their way to you. I can’t emphasize this enough: it will be a sad, sad envelope. DO YOU WANT IT TO BE A SAD, SAD ENVELOPE? I didn’t think so.

Anywhoo, send your SELF-ADDRESSED ENVELOPES WITH SUFFICIENT RETURN POSTAGE ON THEM (wow, I’m using up my All Caps quotient for the year, on this post) to:

I hear there’s free shipping!
