Like Munchkin?

So do I. Hard.

Here’s a little bit of funsies I came up with, while drawing Munchkin Conan:

The LUCCA Comics and Game Convention

To all my friends in Italy,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be able to make it to the Lucca Comics and Games convention this year.

It is with great sadness that I say this – Lucca is one of the most fun, vibrant, amazing conventions in the world. There is no better convention anywhere. I have even started learning Italian in preparation for the convention this year.

The good news is, you will not be subjected to my very rudimentary Italian just yet. I promise I will redouble my efforts so that when I *do* come back – as soon as I can – I will be able to speak your beautiful language much better than I do now. (NOTE: It will still probably not be very good, but at least it will be better than I do now).

Lucca is a wonderful convention, run by amazing people. I have made many friends there, and I will miss everyone. The laughter, the excitement and the spectacle of Lucca make the show one of my favorites in the world, and I promise that I will return as soon as I can.

I love everything about Lucca, and over the weekend of the convention, I will raise a glass of good Tuscan wine to you all!
