Astute readers and correspondents have noticed I’ve been under radio silence for a few days. No cartoons. No posts. I was busy.

So was Judith.

And now, we are three.

Louisa Claudette-Marie

And we are home.

We only told a few people, these last nine months. Family and a very few (certainly not all) close friends. But last Saturday, a brilliant beam of sunshine entered Judith and my life. Louisa is as pretty as her mother, and as silly as her father.

I couldn’t ask for more.

Cartoons and ramblings returning to DorkTower.com soon. VERY soon. I have many stories to tell.

This very second, though, I must go tell some to my beautiful baby daughter.

Twenty-four years ago, at the University of Wisconsin student newspaper offices of the Daily Cardinal, a really cute girl asked me to do a sketch for her, of one of the characters from my then-comic strip, Wild Life. So I did. (Did I mention she was really cute?)
