Well, it COULD have run a day late, too. Still, Dork Tower – the annual April 1 Gust Artist version – is up.

Do frequent Alex Robinson’s various sites, and buy his stuff. It’s phenomenal.

Finally got around to updating my “Appearances” page on the ol’ web site.

I’ll probably pop down to Little Wars and Wizard World Chicago for a day or so each, just as a fan. So I’ll be in my civvies, trying to avoid actual, you know, work. I may do the same for San Diego Comicon.

I’m also trying to make the info on the page about invitations to other cons sound a bit more apologetic, and less jerk-ish:

If you are a con organizer and would like John to attend your convention, please contact Judith. She Who Must Be Obeyed (Judith) has to be convinced that a con won’t interfere with Dork Tower’s schedule, or John’s many other projects.

What cons might John be more likely to attend? Overseas cons (especially ones where he can connect through London and visit family); cons that fly Judith along as well; cons located where John has friends; and just, well, fun, relaxing cons tend to take priority – though that’s still no guarantee John can make it. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, Judith has to turn down more conventions than he accepts. It’s nothing personal. Most people would agree that they’d prefer that the comics and games come out on time than have John doing something silly like relaxing at a fun convention and enjoying himself.
