Updaty Thingy

Since some people are peeved that I’m the Grinch That Stole Valentine’s Day (from Matt and Gilly, at any rate), here’s a sweet piece of Fan Art from , Ginny (of Birmingham, England, I believe) in honor of the day. It should help make amends, at any rate.

Which actually leads me to a bona fide topic. When the web site is redone (as it will be, soon), there’ll finally be a section for Fan Art.

Unfortunately, I’m having a hard time actually locating much of the truly tremendous Fan Art I’ve been sent, over the years. So if you’ve ever sent anything, or indeed have even thought about doing some Dork Tower or Munchkin fan art, now would certainly be a splendid time to send or re-send any pieces you might have…

I’m pretty peeved at myself for getting yesterday’s comic strip up late. Especially since I’m pretty happy with it.

It’s been a few months now that I’ve been able to keep to schedule. This last Monday and Tuesday were pretty bleah workdays, overall, but if I’d gotten my act in gear, I’d have made this deadline easily.

At least it’s up on the day. It’s been several months since I’ve actually missed a day, so I’m feeling pretty solid about that.

What I’m gonna do, as we slowly transition to a point where the web site might actually make some, you know, money (shock! horror!) is to post the cartoons on LiveJournal and My Space the Friday of the week after they run. So…if’n you just can’t wait, head on over to DorkTower.com Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Every little click should (soon) help.

It’s been nice being ahead of the game a bit. It’s also allowed me to put more time into the drawings, which I’ve been having fun with. I was so happy I managed to work that unicorn in today.

So, remember that BAM, BAM, BAM snow I was talking about?

Here are some pics the Lovely and talented Judith snapped, after the last 12″ fell.

This is our front door. That’s the imprint of our door in the snow that’s a third of the way up it.

And to think that the Managing Editor of the Wisconsin State Journal once banned writers from using the phrase “the white stuff.” I could come up with FAR more colorful phrases concerning it, now.

Stay warm!
