SECONDLY — this Friday is the first in two years that there’s no new Dork Tower in Pyramid Magazine Online.

To be honest, I just needed a bit of a break.

Since I now make a living completely from Dork Tower, doing good work is job one. Given a time-crunch yesterday, the only way I could have produced a cartoon for Pyramid was to crank one out. I do not like cranking out cartoons. I played that game for seven years at the State Journal. So I decided that some down-time would be good, and just took a bit of a holiday break.

LASTLY — Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson was nominated to be the Secretary of Health and Human Services under the Bush administration. Which to me just poses the question, who was second choice? Jack Kevorkian?
