Liz Rathke

Since graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena with a degree in illustration (on top of one in painting and printmaking) , Liz Rathke has been a storyboard artist for the award winning series Brand Spankin' New Doug, (Nickelodeon, ABC) as well as 101 Dalmations, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the emmy award winning Madeline, and many other shows; working with such clients as Will Vinton Studios, DIC Animation, Hanna-Barbera Productions, Saban Productions, Fred Wolf Films and Jumbo Pictures. She also worked on the recent theatrical release: Dougs First Movie. Her cartooning credits include the comic book Kissyfur, for DC Comics.

Liz creates set and makeup designs for opera companies, as well as volunteering her creativity for Wisconsin Public Television.

Liz recently received her first ice hockey penalty, and hopes for many more.
